Jewelry Care Guide
Although diamonds and colored gemstones are among the hardest natural materials, your jewelry should still be treated with care to maintain its beauty for years to come.
Wear:
Avoid wearing your jewelry during sports, manual work, or other activities that may cause impact or abrasion.
Cleaning:
Clean your jewelry regularly to remove dirt, oil, and other residues. Use mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft toothbrush.
Dry gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.Chemicals:
Avoid contact with chlorine, household cleaners, disinfectants, perfumes, and cosmetics. These substances can damage gemstones and alter the surface of precious metals.
Material Reactions:
Silver jewelry may naturally react with the chemistry of your skin, humidity, or the air — this can cause darkening or a change in color over time. This is a natural process and not a defect.
Gold, on the other hand, rarely reacts in this way — if it appears discolored, it’s most likely due to everyday buildup of dirt or oils and can easily be cleaned.
Professional Check:
Have your jewelry inspected periodically by a professional to ensure that gemstones remain securely set and that clasps, prongs, and metal surfaces show no signs of wear or fatigue.
